For Benbrook City Council Place 7

About Me
I’ve been a resident of North Texas for nearly 43 years. After graduating from Fossil Ridge High School, I earned a degree in Music Business from the University of Texas at Arlington and later completed my MBA at the University of Phoenix. For the past 15 years, I’ve worked at Northrop Grumman, serving in various finance and accounting roles, and I currently manage an IT team that supports our financial systems.
My wife and I made Benbrook our home in 2006, first settling in the Hills of Whitestone community. In 2010, we welcomed our first daughter, and in 2013 our family was complete with the arrival of our second daughter. Our oldest daughter danced at Footworks for nearly 10 years before focusing on school sports, while our youngest daughter has played soccer since kindergarten. Benbrook has given our family countless opportunities to stay active and connected.
Our family believes strongly in giving back to the community we call home. Since 2014, I’ve served in many roles—including PTAs, our HOA, the Benbrook EDC, and City Council. I’ve also volunteered as a prop dad at Footworks competitions and recitals, coached my daughter’s soccer team—earning the Kyle Hicks Memorial Coaches Award from FWYSA—and continue to serve in my church’s media department. On Friday nights, you’ll often find me on the sidelines at Benbrook High School football games, photographing our student-athletes.
Serving on City Council is an extension of that commitment to service. I believe it takes dedicated staff, engaged boards, and active citizens working together to bring our community’s vision to life. I’m proud to support those efforts and to help ensure Benbrook remains one of the best places to live, work, and raise a family.
